To Naruko Gorge for Autumn Leaves and the Kokeshi Village... Beyond Mt. Kurikoma
...This is Tohoku Itako. The autumn colors have descended from the mountains to the villages, so last week Kiritan and I went to Naruko Gorge. Autumn leaves overlooking a valley, a little sister woozy from a footbath, and a kokeshi doll that squeaks when you turn its head. It was a day full of sounds.
