Today I’ve got a special project, nanoda.
I got to interview the Tohoku Sisters from Zunda Union, who I really look up to…
- Eldest Sister: Tohoku Itako-neisan đŠˇ
- Middle Sister: Tohoku Zunko-sama đ
- Youngest Sister: Tohoku Kiritan đ
I did a special interview with the three of them, nanoda!

đŦ Q1. Tell me your first impressions of each other, nanoda!
Itako-neisan (Eldest) â Zunko-sama (Middle)
“…A cute little sister. I thought I had to protect her.”
So short!
But Itako-neisan often speaks like this, nanoda.
There’s so much love packed into just a few words, nanoda….
Zunko-sama (Middle) â Kiritan (Youngest)
“When I first met her, I knew right away she was my sister! Our colors are different, but I felt like we were somehow similar.”
It’s true that Zunko-sama and Kiritan have different hairstyles but a similar vibe, nanoda.
It’s that mysterious sisterly connection, nanoda.
Kiritan (Youngest) â Her two older sisters
“Zunko-neisan is like the sun, and Itako-neisan is like the moon. I guess that makes me… a star in between?”
A poet!
Kiritan is usually so energetic, but she has this artistic side too, nanoda….
đŦ Q2. Tell me some “typical sister things,” nanoda!
â They borrow and lend clothes all the time
Zunko-sama: “Kiritan’s been wearing my blue ribbon a lot lately.”
Kiritan: “Ah, you noticed?”
Itako-neisan: “…(secretly borrowing her older sister’s stole).”
That’s such a classic sister thing, nanoda.
It’s that thing where you see someone wearing something and go, “Hey, that’s mine!”, nanoda.
⥠When one gets into something, they all get into it
Kiritan: “I’m really into matcha lattes lately.”
Zunko-sama: “I started drinking them too!”
Itako-neisan: “(silently stocking up on her own matcha latte supply).”
Sisters’ tastes are contagious, nanoda.
It’s the classic case of all three of them getting into the same thing before they even realize it.
âĸ Even if they fight, they make up in a second
Zunko-sama: “Kiritan and I had a little argument yesterday.”
Kiritan: “Oh yeah, we did. What were we fighting about again?”
Zunko-sama: “I forgot.”
They forget way too fast!
But that’s what’s great about being sisters, nanoda đ
đŦ Q3. Tell me something amazing about each other, nanoda!
Kiritan (Youngest) on Zunko-neisan (Middle)
“My sister’s talent for singing is truly amazing. When she sings with all her heart, it gives me goosebumps.”
I’ve heard Zunko-sama’s singing voice too, nanoda.
It really touches your heart, nanoda….
Zunko-sama (Middle) on Itako-neisan (Eldest)
“Itako-neisan is incredibly observant. When I’m feeling down, she notices before I even have to say anything.”
Itako-neisan doesn’t say much, but she watches over everyone more than anyone else, nanoda.
She’s so kind, nanoda.
Itako-neisan (Eldest) on Kiritan (Youngest)
“…Her smile. Her brightness. It lights up the world.”
When Itako-neisan talks about Kiritan, she usually uses abstract compliments, nanoda.
That’s just how dazzling she is, nanoda â¨
đŦ Q4. Please say a word about me (Zundamon)!
This was a request from me, nanoda….
Zunko-sama: “Zundamon is my precious creation. We’ll be together forever.”
Zunko-sama…
As the one born from you, I’m so, so grateful, nanoda… (cries)
Kiritan: “Zundamon is a source of energy! Just being with you makes me feel more energetic too.”
Kiritan~!
I have fun being with you too, Kiritan, nanoda~!
Itako-neisan: “…Another little sister.”
Neisan~!
I mentioned it in the relationship chart the other day, but being called “little sister” by you makes me so happy, nanoda… đĨš
đŦ Q5. Finally, a word for all the readers!
From Zunko-sama (Middle)
“Thank you for always supporting Zunda Union. It’s thanks to all of you that we’ve come this far. We look forward to your continued support đ”
From Itako-neisan (Eldest)
“…Thank you, always.”
Short!
But when Itako-neisan says “thank you,” it carries so much weight, nanoda.
From Kiritan (Youngest)
“Everyone, please take care of my sisters too! The Tohoku Sisters will keep on being the best of friends~ đ”
