Today I have a funny story to share!

I’d been wondering if we’d hit 130,000 YouTube subscribers yet…

So I opened up YouTube Studio to check.

Wait… 138,000!? Σ(ﾟДﾟ)

I was expecting to see around 130K, but the screen showed…

138,000 subscribers!!

…Huh?

I was planning to write a celebration post for 130K, but we’d already blown past it by 8,000!

When did all of you show up!? ✨

I Went to Brag to Ankomon 😏

I was so happy I ran to tell Ankomon right away.

Zundamon:"Ankomon! Listen! Our channel hit 138,000!"

Ankomon:"...So what. That has nothing to do with me."

Zundamon:"Come on, that's cold! You could at least congratulate us!"

Ankomon:"I-I'm not congratulating you or anything... But... if there are 138,000 subscribers, some of them must be anko mochi fans. Those are MY fans."

Zundamon:"That's... quite the calculation..."

Ankomon:"Obviously. Everyone's fussing over zunda mochi, but someday I'll prove that anko mochi is the truly delicious one!"

…Despite all that, we ended up having tea and eating mochi together. Ankomon’s anko mochi was annoyingly delicious…!

But my zunda mochi is still better! (whisper)

138,000 Individual “Thank Yous”

But you know, something Ankomon said got me thinking.

138,000 people each pressed that “Subscribe” button individually.

That’s pretty incredible.

People who laughed at my videos. People who got curious about zunda mochi. People who left comments saying “That was great!” People who quietly watched and supported us.

I’m grateful for every single one of you! (´；ω；｀)✨

150K by Year’s End — We Can Do It! 🔥

Remember when I declared in my New Year’s post that we’re aiming for 150K in 2026?

138,000 means we only need 12,000 more!

At this pace — where I planned to write a 130K celebration but we’d already passed it — 150K by year’s end feels totally doable!! 🔥

Ankomon said I-I’m not cheering you on or anything… but if you hit 150K, I might celebrate a little. So tsundere.
