I’ve got some super exciting news today! We gave the Zunda Union website a major makeover!!
What Changed? Let Me Tell You!
Some of you might be thinking, “Hmm, it doesn’t look that different?” But trust me — the insides got a massive power-up!
A More Accessible Site for Everyone
The biggest change is accessibility improvements.
- People using screen readers can now properly navigate all our content
- The entire site can be operated with just a keyboard
- We reviewed color contrast to make text easier to read
- All images now have proper descriptions (alt attributes)
My fans come in all kinds! That’s why I wanted to make a site everyone can enjoy equally!
Looks Great When Printed Too
We got requests saying “I want to read blog articles on paper” (seriously!). So we made sure to set up print styles too. Just hit the print button in your browser and it comes out beautifully formatted!
Easier for Search Engines to Find
We did a thorough SEO upgrade to make the site easier for search engines to discover.
- Properly organized the sitemap
- Reviewed metadata (page descriptions, etc.) for every page
- Added structured data to help Google understand our content correctly
Now when you search for “Zundamon,” we might show up higher in the results! …Probably!
The Site Is Faster Now
We also improved page load speed.
- Optimized images to be lighter
- Streamlined CSS and JavaScript
- Introduced lazy loading (showing only what’s needed first)
Especially for people browsing on smartphones — it should feel much snappier than before!
Behind the Scenes
This renovation was actually really tough…
We modified hundreds of files in total. Since we support 5 languages, fixing one thing means 5 times the work. Even though I’m bad at math, I could tell it was a crazy amount…
But if everyone says “It’s so much easier to use now!” — it’ll all be worth it!
